Royal Mail Tracked® Services

Royal Mail Tracked® services ensure you know where your goods are, from despatch to their safe arrival into your customers’ hands, enabling you to manage your operation more efficiently and enjoy complete control, peace of mind and customer satisfaction.

Convenience for your customers

With Royal Mail Tracked® your customers can now provide specific Safeplace™ delivery instructions when ordering their goods from you. Alternatively, your customers can choose to collect their parcel from their local Post Office® with Local Collect Business™.

Royal Mail also offer free redelivery and customers can request this service online.

Increased control for you and your customer

Several additional features have been introduced to give you and your customers even greater control and flexibility. We have increased the maximum weight limit from 5kg to 15kg.

Extra delivery options are available for a fee, including obtaining an electronic proof of delivery (signature) on delivery and sending your customers text or email notifications - all of which can help you keep your promises to customers with greater certainty.

If you send more than 300,000 parcels per site per year on our 48-hour delivery the following options are available: Loose loading parcels onto our vehicles, and increased weights up to 20kg.

Management information reports are available on a secure area of our website to enable you to view a number of detailed reports including sales orders down to item level, quality of service, and reconciliation of parcels we have received versus parcels pre-advised.

Ease of access

We can collect your shipment from your site or you can deliver it into our local mail centre. For our 24-hour Royal Mail Tracked Next Day® service you only need to send 5,000 parcels a year per account per site. For our 48-hour Royal Mail Tracked® service you only need to send 2,000 parcels per account per site per year.

Easy despatch and tracking

Our despatch management software enables you to easily prepare your parcels for despatch. This enables you to use our Track & Trace facility to follow the progress of your parcel online. The unique barcode label on your parcel gives us the capability to track it at a minimum of four track points, from arrival at the outward mail centre to successful delivery. Simply enter the barcode reference number in the online Track & Trace system to see your packet’s current status. Should you require it, we can also arrange for the purchase of suitable thermal printer (Zebra GK420d).
