I want to redirect my mail
With our Redirection service, you can make sure all your mail is sent to your new home.
- You’re moving home permanently or temporarily, within the UK or overseas, and you don’t want to miss out on any mail that might still be sent to your old address.
- With our Redirection service, we’ll send mail addressed to you at your old home to your new home, for a small fee.
- You can set up a Redirection for one, three, six or 12 months and renew it for up to a total time frame two years.
- The Home Office recommends Redirection as a way of ensuring mail arrives safely and to help prevent any issues with identity theft / fraud.
- You can set up a redirection order online quickly and securely.Please read our customer checklist for full information before completing your online application. Make sure you have a pen and paper handy to write down your reference numbers.
- Or, set up a Redirection in person at your local Post Office®. You’ll need two forms of identification.
- You can pay by debit or credit card. Please note that each surname requires a separate payment.
- We’ll send all mail posted to you at your old address straight to your new address.
